The Lacey & Larkin Frontera Fund is another organization that focuses its efforts in eradicating oppression in the State of Arizona. This organization is funded by two gentlemen namely Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin. These are rich men who made their wealth in the 1970s and 80s by investing in the media industry.
Lacey & Larkin are attributed to the establishment of the Village Voice Media and Phoenix New Times. Just recently, they received a settlement of $3.75 from Joe Arpaio who is a sheriff in Maricopa County.
The sheriff had violated their second amendment rights by arresting them in the middle of the night. They have been fighting this case in the law courts for the last 10 years. After the great win, the gentlemen said that this money would benefit the Lacey and Larkin Frontera Fund.
